Puppy Training
Brining a puppy into your home can be a whirlwind experience. Puppies have that stigma for a reason. However, they aren’t incapable of learning how to channel their sometimes seemingly endless amounts of energy into something more beneficial for all involved.
We at The Dependable Canine offer a variety of Board & Train packages aimed at setting your puppy up for a lifetime of success. We find Board & Train to be very successful with puppies, as it allows us to apply our expert touch and build a successful foundation for your puppy to grow from. Each package ends with a go home lesson in your home where we will show you all of the new things your puppy knows!
We know how important trust is when it comes to the care of your new family member. With that in mind. The Dependable Canine offers a 30 Minute in person Meet & Greet ($30) to meet with us in person to build rapport, make a face-to-face connection, go over any aspects of the program you have questions about, and schedule a start date and a go-home date.
We also offer Boarding (no training) for puppies younger than 1 year/no heavier than 50 pounds for $60 a day.
First Steps
2 Week Board & Train

Our 2 week Board & Train for puppies ages 15-32 weeks where they will learn core, foundational behaviors that will last a lifetime. Such skills include sit, down, place, on-lead recall, introduction to loose leash walking, returning to “heel” position, and verbal leave it. We also crate train, get your pup on a reliable potty, eating, and water schedule, and desensitization to being handled and groomed, among other. Your pup will also enjoy socialization trips in public spaces.
Extra Credit
3 Week Board & Train

Our 3 week Board & Train for puppies ages 15-32 weeks where they will learn all of the aspects of our First Steps program, while in the additional third week your puppy will take training outings in public throughout the last week to strengthen their cues in public environments & make them more world ready.
Honor Roll
4 Week Board & Train

Our 4 week Board & Train for puppies ages 15-32 weeks where they will learn all of the aspects of our First Steps & Extra Credit programs, while in the additional fourth week your puppy will take training outings to even more stimulating and challenging environments in public throughout the last week to strengthen their cues in more challenging environments & strengthen their foundation for a lifetime.
Additional Information
• Pick up and Drop off/ Go Home lesson are subject to travel charges. You can find them on our home page.
• We only board a certain number of puppies at a time, to ensure quality time can be spent with each one. So, there is a potential to be added to a waitlist. To ensure your spot, a non refundable payment of half the total cost of your selected program would be needed to ensure your placement. This payment would reflect towards the total cost of your selected program.
• Each Board & Train package guarantees 2-4 training lessons per day. It’s all about getting rehearsal of good habits and building consistency.
• Your puppy will be featured on our social media pages, make sure to follow us!
• Payment Plans are available, if interested please let us know on your initial consult.
• As a graduate of any of the Puppy Training packages, you are eligible for discounts on our General Obedience training packages. If you are satisfied with our puppy training, we’d love to see you again once your puppy is all grown up! Graduates of our Puppy Training packages get a 5% discount on all future training packages for the life of their dog.
