Who We Are

The Dependable Canine was started with the goal in mind to help families understand their dog’s behaviors better, decrease stress in both the dog and human aspects of your family, provide high quality training results, and continually support our training Teams.

Rob Gunsel, Owner and Operator, has spent over the last decade helping his training teams succeed in various environments. His focus in Service Dog Training has led him to be well versed in the most humane and effective training methods. Service Dog standards are incredibly high, and his aim is to equip everyday pet owners with those same standards for their home – in a way that works for both dog and human.

Located in Mooresville, NC & Servicing North Carolina & Beyond

There are options to meet at public venue locations closer to The Dependable Canine, please bring up on Initial Consultation.

The Dependable Canine is available for long distance travel in certain scenarios.

Travel Charges:
Within 20 Miles – No Charge
21 – 30 Miles – $20 ($5 per lesson with Training Package Purchase)
31- 40 Miles – $30 ($10 per lesson with Training Package Purchase)
Greater Than 40 Miles – Prices Can Vary Dependent on Location

We offer virtual training options as well for distance clients!
